This Spider-Man gate was designed with the help of Ed's late grandson, Cody, who passed away at the early age of 8 years on August 19, 2004 after being in a bicycle accident. Cody and his sister are seen in the second picture during the first stages of design. Spider-Man was Cody's favorite superhero.
Cody loved to build in the shop, and was very creative as well. Cody would come to Ed with new ideas, and when he would tell Ed about them, they always ended up being cool!

| This unique gate was created to look identical to surrounding
pine trees. The detail is absolutely stunning, which includes realistic pine cones throughout,
thousands of individual pine needles and a combination lock. The entire pine tree swings open, it's
truly an exquisite piece of work.

Two different gates are shown below. The gate on the left is a
privacy gate, which Ed hooked up to electrical equipment which allows the owner (inside the home) to
open the gate upon request.
